![]() The craftsman version of the tool comes with a quickboost charger that dumps a partial charge in the lithium battery in just a few minutes - none of B&D's literature mentions this feature, so it is probably exclusive to bolt-on. I initially thought the 3/8" chuck would be a hindrance (my drill is 1/2"), but most consumer drill bits have 3/8" step shanks on them anyways, so you can chuck almost anything up in it. When locked to drill mode, it has enough torque so I can't stop it by hand a good sign considering none of the literature I can find mentions a torque spec on the drill/driver. The slip clutch goes from 1-11, and I can fairly easily stop it even when set at 11. It is no slouch, but it might lack power for tougher jobs. ![]() I've used the bolt-on 20v drill/driver a little bit in advance of the release. Both systems will get the corded powerhead sometime in 2013. This is identical to the Craftsman Bolt-On system that is coming out oct 20th, except the B&D has a 20v and a 12v powerhead, while the craftsman is announced in 20v only. r/DIY now has a Discord channel!
